OK Guys, if you have been over indulging during the Festive Season now is the time to do something about it! We are back playing soccer and it is time to get rid of all those stored calories and fat! The first indoor game of the season is this Thursday against Guilford Black Eagles at 7pm. This is a tough game to start off the session and so far we only have 7 players signed up for the game so if you are planning to turn up please indicate below in the comments section. Please turn up with your fees too..... $69!See you Thursday!

ReplyDeleteI just talked to Halil. His brother won't make it but he will bring his friend, cheznik (spelling?). He is a good player and has played with us before in practices.

ReplyDeleteI have had a recurrance of a medical issue which is going to keep me out of the game tonight. As I'm currently on an opiate, that's probably a good thing for you guys. I also have a more serious problem. I was diagnosed yesterday with a cartilage tear in my right knee which is going to require arthroscopic surgery. That is currently scheduled for Jan 24th unless things change, and I'll be out for at lest 3 months after the procedure, so I'm effectively out of indoor. Sigh. Maybe I'll show up in a skirt to cheer you guys on.

....nice to get the cob webs off last night boys, and looking forward to rest of the indoor session...i was stupid enought to stay on for a 3rd match last night, so paying it for it in the legs today
