Are we going to try the center forward role again this weekend? I think Henrique stuck with the plan pretty well in the first half of the game against Southington but it all fell apart in the second half.
ReplyDeleteAlso, lets try and control the verbal abuse level to our fellow team mates. Never helps a team when we are all swearing and shouting at each other and it has happened a number of times over the last few weeks. It also coincides with the team falling apart during a game. So....if you want to win the game keep your mouth closed if you feel like abusing your fellow team mate!
Based on the number of players for this week, Johnaldo may have to be relegated to his original waterboy status.....

ReplyDeleteJohn, we'll give the CF another go as you suggest. We’ll just do it for both halves this week. Also, Tom-A confirmed that Telat’s true position is in defense, so Johnaldo, you can move to midfield or give CF a go….just like the glory days.
On the more serious matter guys...let's treat other with the highest respect on Sunday. If one of us screws up, don't say anything negative. If you are compelled to comment on personal errors, make it positive. As our new team begins to take shape, as voted captain, I will ask you to take a seat if you curse or abuse anyone on our side (the opposition is a different matter ;o)). If you abuse again when you come back-on, you're out for the rest of the game. I think developing respect and tolerance for all abilities on our team is the only way to bring us together to have fun, and some competitive football on Sunday's. If you can’t agree to these rules, then MCFC is not the team for you. The no tolerance of abuse is a new rule, and it applies to every single one of us. Let’s play together like friends on Sunday, and win our final game. If anyone has a problem with my suggestion, give me a call or better still, blog your concern

ReplyDeleteLast time the postions were messed up and there few players that were playing in wrong postions that they were suited for. That created other problems for the team and we need to make sure that it doesn't happen this Sunday again. You and I need to work out the postions that we won't have this problem Sunday morning. I think is best that we talk before Sunday. We can do it tonight or sometime tomorrow...let me know what works best for you and also we can also have John included for any comments as well.
