So the second stage of the three part season is over and we have had our ups and downs but overall we are making progress. We are in second place having played 18 games, wining 9, losing 2 and drawing 7. Of course, Guilford are right on our tail one point behind but with three games in hand! All I can say is that we have nine games left ( 27 points worth! ) and if we win them all I think we will be promoted. It's still in our hands!
After July 4th weekend we will try and organize some "within squad" practice matches which should be fun and some actual friendly matches

Think back on our three poor games....the thrashing by Orange, our giveaway game to the Albanians 4-4, and lastly, the game we won, but lost against Guilford. Don't dwell on the negatives, but think about how we should and can BEAT THEM next time!! Motivation is half the game (at least at this level)!!
ReplyDeleteAfter this week I start practice 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the evening every day, because my ambition is to make some difference in front and middfield, I need scoring goals more often and assisted any one who play fwd. I will try to getting better and better until the others teams talking "watch # 88 he is fast

ReplyDeleteGuilford beat the Eagles 2-1 but lost to Orange 3 0 they are now 2 points ahead of us but only 1 game in hand...they play Morelia in their last make up game.... we should be in with a chance to catch them next session if we take our chances!

ReplyDeleteWe have 10 more games (7 teams time 4=28 games) We have to play 4 games out and 6 games at home.And 2 times vs Guilford.
I will love to have practice games at the home field.
Please admin working on it to tune up, and we have to make better next season.

ReplyDeleteGuys i think i now have a problem going on the Saturday fishing trip... I know Jodingo!! and Hulk are out and it looks like i am too. Tano has found two guys to go and El Gato and Roniildo are still on so i think there is room for one or two more

ReplyDeleteI can not get any fields for tomorrow in Madison. No luck. Hand did not get back to me to see if we can utilize the HS fields. Therefore, unless someone else can find a field somewhere else in some other town we are out of luck atleast for this Sunday
It appears there is not enough interests and people are too busy....haven't seen much response from anyone plus we have field issues....so I guess no game for tomorrow

guys looks like Morelia beat Guilford 4-3 yesterday! They have now played all of their catch up games and are only 2 points ahead of us! This is great news as they could have been at least 8 ahead of us....will put a new posting on tonight
ReplyDeleteThat's good to know Johanldo....What a win yesterday for US woman team against Brazil...they scored a beautiful goal at the last minute of the game in OT and finally beat the Brazilians in PKs....it was awsome to watch
