Unbeaten at home in 2008, the final game looms.Having gone through the whole of the 2008 season with an unbeaten home record, Madison meet Milford Magic in their last game at home. During 2008 Madison have played 8 games at home winning 4 and drawing 4. This will be our fourth game against Milford this year having lost one, won one and tied one. So an unbeaten home record to play for as well as bragging rights against the Magic are all up for grabs on Sunday!
Weather permitting, we will play at our normal ground at the Madison surf club and then Tom has planned an after game drink!

We should work on making the town campus field as our main home field then the high school, and last resource the exchange field
ReplyDeleteI just called the town to see if the coordinator can give us an alternative field preferably the town campus field. He was not around and will get back to me this afternoon. We should check the exchange field tonight to see if the nets are still up and the field condition. Other than that I have no idea if Tom has been in touch with Milford or not. I have no contact with them and I do not know who to even call. How about this, for next season we have to get more organized and have a designator for each task and not one person.
ReplyDeleteThere should be a treasurer for money, a field coordinator, a contact person for information, a coach, a food and beverage coordinator and a general manager. We should get more organized like the rest of the teams!
Can you schedule the game at Milford's field, and request Geno as our referee!

ReplyDeleteWe have the choice of playing either at the Exchange field (Surf Club) or the JV field at Madison High School. I tried to get the turf field but was taken.
ReplyDeleteI think we should be playing at Madison High School located off of exit 61 from I-95 which is a little better field than the Exchange field.
I am going to email the Milford's Team and the Ref to let them know about the field change.

ReplyDeleteAs a reminder, please check your email Sunday morning no later than 8:30 am if you think the weather condition is bad. If you get a email, that means the game is calncelled. I am not going to contact everyone by phone.....if there is no email....that means the game is on and don't make any assumptions please.
