So, looks a like a little bit of cold weather and snow stopped the game from happening yesterday. But the notice on the cancellation was very short and again we had two of our players show up for the game....I know.... Jodingo!! and Roniildo were the same guys that showed up the last time we cancelled a game ..... but this time they really did not get any notice. For last minute changes like this we need to phone everyone....the blog is good for general notices when we leave enough time for people to check it out.We can discuss this and other topics at our team night out, which looks like being on Monday Dec 14th at Auger's Bar in Guilford. Didn't get too many replies but i think we have at least 5 or 6 guys who will turn up.
The next big question is.....will be even attempt to play this weekend against Clinton? It would be a league game but will the weather hold out? If we are going to go for it we need to get the roll call going again and maybe Tom A can check in with Clinton to see if they are still up for playing this last league game of the season.
OK, that's enough from me....back to the sunny Florida weather ;o)

ReplyDeleteI am afraid there is not going to be a game against Clinton this Sunday. Clinton and Madison fields are both closed for winter and will be opended for spring. There is also rain/snow forecast for this Sunday as well....I think is wise to forget about any outdoor games....and start thinking indoor....our indoor session will start the first week of january...and the people are interested are:

ReplyDeleteGents, The indoor session II starts Thursday Jan. 7th - February 25th. All games are on Thursday's (8 weeks/8 games)and we have to register and fully pay a week prior to the first game. I will bring a registration form on Monday at Augur's for Ron (our CFO) to start collecting the dues for it and send in the form with payment. The cost is $825.
