Midfielder Of The Fall 2009!



















After the exciting defender of the Fall vote, which was won by newcomer Telat, it is now time for the Midfielders to be recognized! Some great players for you to vote on.... Vote for the new players Dejan and Ilan? Both have had great starts to their new Madison Celtic careers or you could go for one of the old stalwarts Jodinho, Fribeka, Roniildo or our El Presidente!


Go for it!


And thanks to those guys that turned up Monday night for the team meeting at Augers. It was a good meeting and fun.... and thanks Jodingo!! for providing most of the fun ;o)


We have got several guys signed up, and paid up, for the indoor season but we need more guys to cough up their fees for the indoor. Please get in touch with Cap'n Ron as soon as you can.

    We will have 10 With Telat, Carlos, Enrique and Halil. Haven't heard from Scot and hope he is doing ok....do you know if Jacque playing or not?

    I'm going to the doctor in January to check out my knee (meniscus tear?)and ankle/foot (ligaments?). Will let you know what they figure out and if I can play indoor.

    Listen,

    Tom-A, at our meeting last week, the board ratified a new policy for the indoor sessions...it is called "pay to play". I am leaving for Scotland on Monday, and will not be back in US until Jan 8th!!! I'll miss the fiest game on the 7th. The cost to play for each player is $100 each. The money needs to be paid up front. If you are committing players as definite yes to the list below, you need to get their $100 up front or if not, you will be accountable to cover their $100. I have asked that all money be sent to Rob H, as I will be in Scotland. Rob H will be going to the Sportplex to pay our entry fee, so coordinate with BOR to provide him the money in advance.

    If there is any anbiguity about my message, please contact Johnaldo, BOR, ElGato or Jodingo!!

    Well I did send a hyperlink of the Madison Celtic blog to ONE friend in Munich in order for him to follow the team adventures in text & pictures and for fun to vote for the best Mittellaeufer (midfielder). I was sure he would know who that is. lol

    Good thing I didn't let tell my friends in Great Britain (Susan Boyle & Rod Stewart to name a couple), the rest of Europe especially the former Yugoslavian countries, my African & South American team mates as well as all the people I coached....lol

    What was the breakdown of the votes in terms on nationality? I did mention the blog & vote to my school friend in North Carolina, Can you confirm that she voted according to school loyalty please? :)

    Anyway this was a lot of fun and you may award the 24 Carat Trophy to Foni and the bonus money to the charity of your choice :)

    For all whom voted for me it's much appreciated and I commend you for good taste!
