After the runaway victory for Roniildo (8 votes!) in the midfielder of the summer vote it is now time for the big one! Yes the vote for defender of the Summer! And we have a lot of people to vote for....i know a number of players 'helped out" in defence at times.....and thank you for that...but i have kept to the main group of players that will always describe themselves as D experts! Del Pie, Hamid The Enigma, La Boca, Gogglito, Pink, BOR, Johnaldo and El Gato!

Our roster is getting smaller for the Fall. Tom J. is out for knee injury. Tim is going to play American football and will not play in fall, and I think Enrique will leave to Brazil in Sept. sometime......hope Eric will come back and Hamid's friend will join in.....we need to recruit more players
ReplyDeleteMore bad news... I spoke to Eric yesterday and he is NOT going to play anymore. He says his knee still hurts every so often, which concerns him. He also said he cannot afford to miss work due to injury so he's going to stay retired.

I also want to inform everyone that I coach one of my son's football teams (American football) and between him, my other son's football team and my daughter's cheerleading team, my Saturday's and Sunday's are booked with games until the end of October. If there happens to be a Sunday with no games I would be able to make a soccer match, but I can't promise I will be able to make any of the fall session soccer matches.

The Premiership club was found guilty of inducing French teenager Gael Kakuta to breach his contract with Lens when he joined in 2007.
"Chelsea is banned from registering any new players for the two next registration periods," a statement on Fifa's website read.
Chelsea are looking into the matter and hope to issue a statement.
