The Fall Season kicks off on Sept 7th! It is, basically, the Spring Season reversed. There are some exceptions due to field availability.The league have added a new team to the men's B division, BridgeportUnited.
This means we only have a short time to get fit for the new league campaign, especially if we want to start off well. I'll post something later in the week about how we could all get fit for the season!
Tom wants us wearing white socks for the fall season and who am i to argue with his fashion sense! I've got my socks ready to roll....
Looks like we voted for Man Utd and Celtic to win their respective leagues.....good!

ReplyDeleteI just found out that our Fall Season begins on 9/7 which is about 2 weeks from now. I will try to schedule a scrimmage game for the Labor day weekend against another team if everyone is around. I will encourage that we should all get back into the practice mode again and get ready for the season.
Please let me know if available for that Sunday.
I am also thinking about getting the white socks for everyone instead of using the green socks. Let me know if we are on the same page.

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish league after 3 games played! Some good new signings are adding some great pace and direction to the team. The first really big game is coming up this weekend though....Celtic vs Rangers!

ReplyDeleteI do have white socks, but I want a new jersey (LG)!! My 13 months son fits into mine now that it shrunk so much! Obviously John got Nikkee jerseys from a suspicious vendor in a dark alley, and not the real deal Nike!

ReplyDeletei'm around this weekend. Green , White , Blue socks it doesn't matter to me. Although now that I've lost my hair, I wouldn't mind a hat. I was thinking the team would look good in those black Irish bowler caps! I also think the official game ball would look good painted gold.

ReplyDeleteA lot of confusion today about Ranger and Rovers, green socks, white socks and red sox.....i'm glad my full throttle indoctrination of the team about all things Celtic has landed on such "fertile" ground. I'll keep plugging away and maybe we can have a chat one day about Samaras vs Venegoor of Hessilink or Maloney vs Macdonald....or should Naka play on the left or the right?........hope Celtic beat the Rovers at the weekend though.
