Champions League Draw!

Sixty thousand people held their breath for what seemed an age, then Shunsuke Nakamura's scorching free kick screamed past Edwin Van der Sar's flailing arms and cracked into the net. The bulge in the net signaled an eruption of noise from the Celtic fans and sent them into a frenzy of excitement.......i know......i was there! And just two years after that goal sent Manchester United to defeat and Celtic through to the last 16 of the Champions League the draw placed the two old adversaries back into the same section along with crack Spanish outfit Villareal and relative unknowns Aalborg from Denmark. It's a tough draw but could have been much worse as there are some great teams in this competition. Celtic's impressive home record should see them accumulate enough points to be a real competitor in this section. If they can improve their dismal away record in the Champions League then they will have a great chance of qualifying for the last 16 of the competition for the third year in a row. Celtic's first game will be at home to Aalborg on the 17th September. I'll keep you posted!

  4. We only have 5 or 6 guys that are available for this Sunday....and because of it we don't have enough people to play scrimmage game with another team. So...no scrimmage game but I think there is a Clinton pick up if anyone is interested. My going there is also 50/50.

Sorry guys for this weekend but be ready for next weekend.....

I may see you there on Sunday if you planning to be at Clinton pickup at Indian River Complex

I tried a test run of it this week and would have scored 25 pts!

  9. Well, i won't be saying much about the Celtic Rangers game earlier today...... Celtic got beat 4-2 at home! The first time they have given up 4 goals to Rangers at home for over a hundred years!!!
I think this result will get Celtic really focussed for the season...onwards to 4 in a row!

  11. How many pounds have you lost since starting the new program? Keep up the
hard work, it appears that Celtic, the Glasgow boys, may be giving you a
call to help out there. Hearts 4-2??? Motherwell next........

  12. well, glad you asked! 6 pts yesterday ( 45 mins excercise) and 11 points today! ( 65 mins)....off to a flying start...

.....and it wasn't Hearts that Celtic lost to it was the Glasgow 'Rovers'.....which makes this much much worse.
