Our next game is a home game vs Eli's FC with another 8am kick off. I know, I know.....8am, it sucks etc etc. But it is what it is, so let's get out there and win some more points!! We can definitely do that against Eli's! If you haven't checked in yet with Ronnie to say if you are in or out please do so soon!
Thanks John. All the boys checked in, and we have a super strong 14 squad for Sunday. Eli's are on a good streak, so should be a good match. Will be giving 100% to snag all 3 points!
ReplyDeleteWe have 3 league games to go, and another 3 round robin matches in the cup. We're in a group with Fairfield GAC (they are the only perfect league record in all SASL leagues- 15/15 wins!). We always drew or beat them when we were in the Div2, so can't wait to see how they have transformed their team😄

ReplyDeleteYeah John-I have been following them closely-I also like their player manager a lot, whom I met at the last SASL AGM. He mentioned he recruited a few new players, so they must be stellar-I'm looking forward to playing them though! I think we can hold our own when we're at full octane strength. We're a wee bit unfortunate to be grouped with both Fairfield GAC and Cheshire Azzuri, but should be a good experience!
