Message from our coach:
"Gentlemen,
Just to inform you that the outdoor season will start on April 19th and we are waiting to receive the final game schedule from the league.
All our Home Games will be played at the Xchange field and we can't use any other fields in the town due to lack of availability.
Jim and Eric hope you guys are doing OK and please drop me a line.
We are also looking for few players and let me know if you know someone who is a good player and interested to join the team.

ReplyDeleteLet's make sure Jim is coming back this spring because I can play on the field but not as a goalie my left arm is out for six months. I can lift it but not all the way out. I definitely would play defensive but let's work on jim or kevin.
Tom, I did send you an e-mail some time ago. I am not sure now if you ever got it.
ReplyDeleteMy right knee is not good. I have yet to get itfixed. Not able to play this Spring/Summer. Not sure about the Fall. If I do not have it fixed or things do not go well I shall be done.
Jim can't play for the spring season, see above. We also need a goal keeper....may be Kevin can help us....Jacque, can you talk to Kevin please.

ReplyDeleteEl Gato's shoulder is not healing properly therefore, he is transforming into a field player instead for the spring season as "El Defendo" until his full shoulder recovery. Therefore we are in a need for a goal keeper for spring season.
Kevin, can you give them an answer!! I'm sure John will be able to provide you with a proper Celtic goalie Jersey and Gloves if you commit.

What happened. I recollect we had two other options other than Xchange field? We all detest that field, and most of the teams we play complain bitterly about it. We really need a solution going forward.

ReplyDeleteI guess you didn't read my email carefully. Other fields (High school and the Town Campus) are not available and taken for lacrosse, and soft ball practices. I have requested for those fields first but it was rejected.

ReplyDeleteI am afraid I am not going to make the tonight's game and instead I have to attand a Seminar which starts at 6:30 pm tonight in Meriden at Sheraton Hotel.
I just got a phone call from Danny which was kind of surprising asking me about the outdoor spring season and wanted to know when the season starts. He asked me if we play tonight and I told him that he can play for me tonight.
So, Danny will be there plus Carlos, Enrique....and Kevin is the Goalie. We got a full team tonight and let's get a win for the team guys.
Ron, Jacque and Tom P. please make sure bringing your dues and I will collect it next week.
