Another great performance by the Celts saw them force the league leaders to drop points for the first time this season. A hard fought and, at times, petulant game was devoid of goals but not chances for both teams. Another sterling performance by the Celtic defence with Alex in goal, helped to hold off a Newington forward line that had banged in 13 goals in their previous four outings. The Celts also had chances up front but were just off the pace and unable to nick a goal. A first outing from Dmitriy was also noted as being excellent!
