About our Hero, stay back and read this.
I have a conversation with Tom a couple weeks ago about why he miss last game and when I hear it why, I was astonish and that night I barely concentrate in the game.
I ask my self, why he said to me his very serious problem?(that many of you knows at ready).
So I answer my self this: He take this like he really love it, and he is dedicated to the team too.
So last Thursday I have a quick conversation to Kris (the Men in charge for Guilford Hawks) about moving to SASL with you Guys by fall season and He said: Ruben If you want to move to another team why you don't do now?
(and Tom dedication plus the couple of beer glasses the I share with 4 of you guys, came to my mind) and I said sure.
Guys: I didn't share to much time for now with all of you, but I have a filling the this Teams have very good humans hearts.
So for me is enough to have the sincerely pleasure to be part of this Team.
Thanks again to Tom to let me join the Team,and all of you to make me fill very welcome.
Tom is another guy like me who loves Football and don't want hangs the cleats, so if that make him a Hero I'm cool with that.

ReplyDeleteI think the notice for the game this weekend was way too short....Friday at 2.45pm does not give enough time for people to change any plans they did have for that Sunday morning.....like going to church, sleeping etc. ;o)
The video was just my attempt to to make us all chuckle, and especially for Tom to have a laugh! And, you are right, he has run the club single handed for many years and he is very dedicated....we are now stepping up to help him and hopefully we will have a good season and a smoothly running administration.

ReplyDeleteThat was funny John and I did have a laugh. Ruben, you are welcome any time and we are glad that you joined our team now instead of waiting till next fall. That actually makes things more simple and you don't have to worry about it later on. I will take of your transfer from Guilford Hawk to Madison Celtic.
Regarding the cancellation on Saturday. Last Thursday night, most people were up for the game on Sunday I thought except for Behrooz. I got the confirmation from the Chesire team Friday afternoon and I sent it to everyone immediately. No worry, we can try this game this Sunday (Easter Sunday) not sure or on the 4/11 if Cheshire is available. I will check with them and get back to everyone soon.
