....and there is a nice video of the game on Madison Celtic TV!
WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BE COMPLACENT! Our league record so far is excellent and you have to go back to the 8th of November 2009 for the last time Madison Celtic were beaten in a game!
11 GAMES IN A ROW WITHOUT DEFEAT!
The leagues have also been announced for the SASL 2010/2011 season;
We are in the Third Division with the following teams!
1 Albanian Eagles
2 Madison Celtic FC
3 East Haven SC
4 Guilford Bell Curve
5 Hamden United
6 North Branford SC
7 Orange SC
8 Wallingford Morelia
Should be very exciting! But let's focus on winning the CARSL league first!
Who is the beer guy? ARNIESTO!!

ReplyDeleteI need a copy of your driving license ID or passport ID by this Sunday. You can email an image if you prefer. I have sent all the other to SASL registrar. They need this ASAP, so please, if you are playing in SASL , send today or bring with you on Sunday.
Thanks for your help :-)
Ron
P.S. Halil can you make sure that Telat brings a copy of his license or passport ID on Sunday, or you can email to me if it is easier. I don't have the email address for Telat or Ilhon. If you do, please forward to me.
Tom,
ReplyDeleteYou did not provide me the paperwork. I assume you sent your info to the Registrar? please verify you are all set. Also, I have no photos or driver license/passport for Safet. Can you forward this to him, and cc me and John, if you have his email address.
Thanks/Ron
Hello All,
ReplyDeleteCheshire Inter FC of the SASL Masters (Over-40s) League Second Division need a goalkeeper.
Masters League goalkeepers must be 35 years old or older. In the Masters League, goalkeepers under 40 are not allowed to play out on the field.
If you or anyone you know are interested, please contact the manager:

Johnaldo, Do you have your water holster belt all set for Sunday?
ReplyDelete....at ODP Div camp. Will be back in 2 weeks
ReplyDeleteLa Boca speaks!! Have fun and we'll see you then!
ReplyDelete85 and sunny on Sunday morning. Gogollito and Johnaldo back in action...will be a great day for a win boys. despite their position in the table, let's play as smart as last week to keep the streak alive.....
ReplyDeleteLa Boca! Don't forget to give all your info to Roniildo or we will not get you registered for SASL on time!! Are you in CT?
ReplyDeleteJodingo!! yes always keep the water belt alive for that day when i am no longer required on the field!
ReplyDeleteRoniildo.... you are right... even though there are 16 points seperating the teams we still have to go for the jugular!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have intel on the teams in the SASL divison we will be joining?
ReplyDeletejohnaldo, when LaBoca gets back, he has played in this league for years, and should have good intel
ReplyDeleteJohnaldo:
ReplyDeleteI seen some Teams in actions they are very week in 3rd and 2cnd div. the only hard ones Team are in 1st. div we play now to in that level for example remember the New Britain Falcons from CARSL league? they move to over 48 SASL and they sweep them all by many goals of difference.
This is a public blog Johnaldo, and I don't want to make any Team from SASL 3rd div. get offended of what I writing.
But I tell you this, if we play like we do this season, believe me,it will be hard for any team over 40 to defeat us.
We have to control just 2 or 3 player to wining each others. But I notice the do even if we win so I think is the nature of how they are so we have to ignore and pay attention to the our smart player that we have, and you know who they are.
Tano.... good to know! I hope we get enough points ahead in the CARSL so we can be champions going into the new SASL division without having to play the last two games! I'm still ok for playing twice in one day if it means winning the league
ReplyDeleteCeltic vs Man Utd on ESPN right now!
ReplyDeleteTyping error:
ReplyDelete(In the first line, I'm mean Weak no week)
3-1 to Man Utd ..... but was never a 3-1 game
ReplyDeleteCeltics new signings Ledley and Cha Du Ri played well, so did Samaras
ReplyDeleteMy fridge overfloweth with brewskis. Hamden used to be a solid team, back in my old sasl days...East Haven and North Branford were always pretty good, too. I suspect that the Orange team is the Woodbridge team in CARSL that's toward the top of the table, though I'm not 100% sure of that....
ReplyDeleteJodingo!!....check out the beautiful Scottish weather at the Open...you will enjoy in September:-)
ReplyDeleteTano...good simple philosophy. We focus on our players and we can compete well. As we increase our fitness levels, a la Jodingo!!, the games will be a lot of fun!
Tomorrow will be a tough match, which we must win to have a chance of winning league, particularly if we miss a game or two due to SASL. I also in favor of playing 2 games if needed, as noted by Johnaldo
see you 9:15AM for warm up......
Roniildo... you will be 'warmed up" as soon as you walk out your front door tomorrow....will be in the 90's~!
