The two Toms are 50/50.
We have still to hear from Kevinho, Dejan and Danny. The rest are out, injured or enigmas.
Have fun, it's only a friendly and if the weather holds out we will have a league game the following Sunday. If someone wants to write a report on the game i will post it but no problem if your creative juices are not up for being used in a friendly.

Some interesting games to watch next year!
Henrique will also be hoping to bring a couple of his Brazilian friends. We also need a goalie....not sure if Kevinho can make it
ReplyDeleteSorry guys but my weekends are booked until the end of the year. Hope it doesn't snow on Saturday night (a prediction I heard this morning)! Good luck
ReplyDeletethanks Kevinho...see you in the new footie year!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the so-called group of death!?
ReplyDeleteGroup A and B are a farce - France and Argentina barely made it and are going to go through with ease??????
I guess Group G will be the one to watch with Portugal and Ivory in the mix...
Go Oranje
Mr Klass
ReplyDeleteGroup G is tough and so is B.... some interesting games!
the orangey ones got an OK group
Expect the African teams to play a level above where they have been. And a few were not far off the mark last WC and now they are on home soil. Don't be surprised if one is in the semi's. They will play just as hard as South Korea and Japan did and they are a foot taller!
ReplyDeleteI think Group A is the hardest to call.
You think Drogba will make the difference for Ivory Coast? He is in great form now....wonder if he can keep it going to next Summer
ReplyDeleteIf he remains healthy he will be in form. He will be more motivated than for his club.
ReplyDeleteHe is really unstoppable if he is healthy, but he will need the ball and he won't have the Chelsea midfield to serve it to him...
what is the cancellation policy - same as before?
ReplyDelete1"-2" of snow predicted for tonight...
Tom
ReplyDeleteI will have to leave this in the hands of Tom....i will be on a plane, probably waiting on the runway, when you guys are thinking about playing. The forecast seems variable right now.....the field is astroturf... i guess you will have to look out the window tomorrow morning....! Tom or someone could post a comment about the game status but he will need to call a few people
I think the bad weather should pass us tonight sometimes...and it should be ok for tomorrow....we will see....I will send a blog here tomorrow morning by 8:30 am if we need to cancel.....so the game is ON for now
ReplyDeletesorry guys....I was got notified and the game is cancelled for today...
ReplyDeleteDid anybody let the turks know.....
ReplyDeleteDid anybody let the turks know...
ReplyDeleteRoniildo and I showed at the field.....only to call Tom and find out that we should've checked the blog at 8:40?? C'mon....
ReplyDeleteTTC, who on the Guilford team notified you at 8.40 AM???? That was unusual for them....no?
ReplyDeleteNot a complete waste of my morning. Mr. Jodingo!!, showed me a much faster and convenient route to the high school traveling from Branford.....thanks J!!
