MATCH REPORT; Madison Celtic 1 Clinton Over 30's 3
A great game against a strong Clinton over 30 team resulted in a 3 to 1 loss for the Celts but they could hold their heads high after a spirited performance. It didn't look like it was going to be a fun match after the Celts lost two very early goals to rusty play. But they tightened up their performance and a great move involving Johnny B and Tano resulted in a debut goal for Ravi.
The game was a very even affair right to near the end when Clinton slotted a great third to close out any chance of an equalizer for the Madison team. As a pre-season warm up it was a very useful exercise. Great to see Alex, Eduardo and Edimar back playing for the Celts. Was also great catching up with ex Madison legend Flaco! Carlos was playing defence for the opposition and still looked like he could play for the over 20's!
