Guilford Celtic is a Connecticut based team playing in the Shoreline Adult Soccer League since 2010. The team was formed in 2003 and played in the Connecticut Adult Recreational Soccer League for 7 years. In 2017 we changed our name from Madison to Guilford Celtic!
The team is inspired by Glasgow Celtic FC...probably the greatest football team on the planet!

Our Players of the Year 2014!
Congratulations to Johnny B for winning the midfielder of the year award! No votes for anyone else, a clean sweep for the midfield maestro!
John joins Tim and Tano as our players of the year!
We just received an e-mail from the Orange team informing us they cannot continue in the League, so they will drop out. We are very sorry to loose them, they have been in the League a long time..
If any team is considering dropping out, or maybe changing divisions, the Ex Bd. need to know ASAP. There is no guarantee a team can change divisions, it will depend on the line-up of the division format they are leaving and the division they want to go to..
If a team drops out before December 31, they can get their bond back if there no fines pending. After December 31, the team looses it bond (Rule A.7, para 5)
I will be signing autographs for a limited time at the Xmas party! :). I feel like we almost got it this year and with new players we almost figured it out. I am optimistic we will turn our team around and start winning some games next year. We also had a ton of injuries this past season.
A well run competition and a great results.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners and thanks to the
organizers.

Better run than the referendum! Although voting turn out was a bit low.....
