Hope you guys are all having fun playing indoor. And I hope the rest of us are trying to keep in shape or trying to get back to a shape that can be faintly recognized as Human by the time we take to the fields in April! Roniildo is working out the team fees for the year. We just need to confirm whether or not we will be paying for a ref and two linesmen per game in Div 2 or just a ref.
If it's just the same as last season then it may be only $90 per head. We will confirm soon but start saving up..... we need the fees in as soon as we ask for them. First league payment is due on March 1st.
Oh, and remember, The Big House Must Stay Open! ....that's the bottom line!
Here is Tano's match report;
Good news! 6-4 vs Xara and guess what? No subs! Well, only one after 20 mins playing.
We were;
Goalie; El Gato
Defs; Tom P and A, and Dan Miller ( Guilford Hawks guys)
Mids; Carlos and Dave S
Front; Tano and Paulo
Why? was a clean game and also we rotated all over the field, like real fussball. We played like the globetrotters!
Final game of this indoor session is this Thursday 7pm vs Xara again Field 2 Anyone signed up for the next session?
ReplyDeleteStart of The Season: Sunday, April 15th, 2012
ReplyDeleteLeague Costs: All teams playing in 2012 season will have to pay $400 SASL League Fees before March 1st, 2012 (check needs to be received by March 1st).
This is the first increase in dues in over 10 years of league operation. Unfortunately, operating costs have gone up and the Board is currently exploring alternatives to minimize costs and find alternative revenue generating opportunities to help defray some of the operating costs of the league. We will keep you posted.
State fees (paid to CSSA) will continue at $500. This fee will be collected by June 1st, 2012.
Johnaldo, thanks for laying out the costs so clearly!
ReplyDeleteHere's the formula gents :-)
Each of us owe: $500 (state fee) + $400 (SASL fee) + Ref/linesmen costs/ # of players on roster. As Johnaldo mentioned above, i am seeking clarification on whether or not we have 2 linesmen to pay for plus ref in Div2. As soon as I get clarification from SASL execs, will let you know total fees for the year. Best regards, Roniildo :-)
very excited about 2012...Tano has been very busy on the recruitment front (thanks TANO), and, as result of his effort and committment, we have the opportunity to sign on a few awesome new talents!!! If it all works out, we will keep you posted on the new roster...
ReplyDeleteFribeka, if we are serious about Lin, need his contact info, so we can contact him about his 2012 intentions to sign on for the Celts?
ReplyDeletelooking forward to another big week in the Champions League! We should vote on the winner, and maybe have a wee wager boys?
ReplyDeleteDannyX, awesome to hear you played last week. Hope you can make as many matches as possible this year!!!!
ReplyDeleteRoniildo.... The who play last week wasn't La Boca , he's name is Dann Miller and he lives in Guilford big guy from def of my ex team (Guilford Hawks). He's a solid defender but I'm not so shure if he wants to play outdoor tournament,
ReplyDeleteAbout bring those guys to the team, they practice all the time, they're quiet, and is good to have them to cover the two vacants of Telat and Hilhan.
ReplyDeleteHopefully all get happy about it.
Boys its good we got upd div2 is gonna be tough, but we wil be fine. La'Boca
ReplyDeleteI was looking the pic, so no more Johnaldo we have to call you Johnstone. now?
ReplyDeleteTano Danny Miller said last week he likes to join us outdoor.
ReplyDeleteThis week we did well because the other team's midfield turned the ball over and our midfield moved up and back well.
ReplyDeleteThe week before we were shredded by their midfield as they moved up and back really well with the offence and defense. We stopped lots of 1st shots but the MF got the 2nd shot in.
tpink... the goalie of the week before made the difference too, I count almost 4 shots just on me and one hit the post.
ReplyDeleteEl Gato.. that sounds very good. I don't know how many games he will show up, specialty those are far.
He is a very solid def (left), and have nice long range shoots too.
I means** 4 shoot that he saved
ReplyDeleteJohnaldo... Since there is not to much interest on play 3rd. section indoor, can we take advantage of the cool weather and arrange some scrimmage games? vs Guilford Hawks(Champs 2011 of CARSL) or Black Eagles(5th. place of first div.) or Madison AFC (over 30 3rd. div.)also Southeast Xara (7th.place of 1st. div.).I can ask some referee if you want to.
ReplyDeleteThose games, can help us to tune up the team since that we have new players.
I hope everybody helps from the beginning, so at the end of the season, we don't have to struggle to go up to 1st. div. where we belong.
Roniildo, I bet Chelsea loses 2-0 to Napoli!
ReplyDeleteForza Lavezzi
ReplyDeletegood call Jodingo!!
ReplyDeleteguys, if there is no interest in paying for Inddor3, Tano suugestion is a good one regarding scrimmages! I want to let Stan at SportsPlex know on Thursday if we are NOT playing indoor3.
ReplyDeleteCeltic's biggest rivals Rangers look as though they are sliding to oblivion in a tsunami of debt. A lot of the Rangers fans are in denial even though this has looked inevitable for a while to Celtic fans. Lots of funny videos and news stories as you could imagine as Celtic fans enjoy the moment. Here is another video explaining how Rangers got themselves into this situation.
ReplyDeleteA simple video explaining Rangers Debt crisis!
There are several swear words in the video for those of you with a faint heart.......be warned ...not work place or child approved words!
Outrageous video :-) What can you say? lots of the F and C words, so definitely X or PG rating....what a story this is! Where is Mr Murray?
ReplyDeletekind of weird that the big debt is 80 million, yet they pay the players a couple of million a piece, so, no wonder the business is not working. When will folks figure the arithmetic out?
ReplyDeleteguys, tomorrow is the last session of Indoor2, and the following week is start of Indoor3. I am not playing indoor3. I have not heard from TomA, if he is organizing Indoor3? I have not heard from anyone that they are in for this session. To keep us in good grace with the SportsPlex, I will inform them that MCFC are not in for Indoor3 tomorrow night. Look forward to seeing everyone for outdoor in the next few weeks. Tano is trying to organize outdoor scrimages, so thanks TANO!!!
ReplyDeleteRoniildo.... You welcome, but Johnaldo is in charge to do the scrimage game, I just mention to the guys that I see them at indoors. Soon they will contact John via email. See you to night.
ReplyDeleteupdate...
ReplyDeleteBig win last night for the celts...too many goals to count actually, and there was a big turnout of guys on our side to boot!
Deadline for registering new players is looming close, in early March. I followed up on the leads we heard about from the lads last week, but not successful I brought all tha paperwork last night, but Paulo's cousins were not there! Also, Danny Miller showed up, and asked him about joining us in the Spring, but in fact he is playing for the Black Eagles in the Spring, so that's that
No indoor next session for Madison Celts. Not sure if TomA is organizing a pick-up team with his brother and friends or not......
I will be sending each team member an a return envelope to collect outdoor fees for this year. I need this money ASAP, because Johnaldo graciously stepped up to pay in advance the $400 CSJA fee that was due next week. I would like to reimburse him from the club soon. Thanks for all of your cooperation. Kris N, Jodingo!!, Johnaldo and myself have contributed our fees already.
Paulo, if your cousins are going to be eligible for registration, they need to get all the required SASL materials to me quickly or they will miss the deadline
Thanks for your help guys,
Ron
P.S.
ReplyDeleteIf your address has changed in last year, please email me the new one.
Paulo, if you have your cousin's addresses and cell#s I can contact them, but might be quicker if you do this part of it.
Spiders webs are growing in this blog at ready, I hope is not the same in 7 Weeks.
ReplyDeleteYou're right Tano :-). Maybe everyone is using facebook now?
