The next indoor game is Thursday 8pm, field 4 versus Bell Curve 1....
Some more party pics for you to enjoy!
Guilford Celtic is a Connecticut based team playing in the Shoreline Adult Soccer League since 2010. The team was formed in 2003 and played in the Connecticut Adult Recreational Soccer League for 7 years. In 2017 we changed our name from Madison to Guilford Celtic! The team is inspired by Glasgow Celtic FC...probably the greatest football team on the planet!
Where have all the bloggers gone??
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pics JH.
ReplyDeleteAbout the game on Thursday Blackpool was so physical an dirty. But also they were a solid team they have 4 subs and attack with 3 and defend with 3 so our tactics made by the Abasi brothers 2-1-2-1 wont work at this time? and the reason why we have not shoots is because, I dribble to much, so we lose just because, me myself and I mistakes, the rest of the team played great specialty the solid defense of Tom A. and whatever his brother name is. So they been tell me that I dribble to much and I'm not Messi to doing that, but also Bruce in one occasion and Ruggero said that I'll been dribble a lot. So too many guys are agree on that, means something to me, is time to look for another indoor team.
I will be out next game and see if the team doing much better without the player who screw the team.
Tano you did great. You were the only one that ran hard back and forth. You came from forward to help the defense when needed. Don't let it get to you.
ReplyDeleteTano you did o.k.,, whole team fight hard, did not have enaf sub,Blackpool was weary good and physical strong,Hulk you did great,
ReplyDeleteHang in there Tano!
ReplyDeleteI see the U.S. might play Scotland on May 26th or 27th somewhere on the east coast. Hopefully, in the NY or Boston areas!
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun Jodingo!! If it is definite, a bunch of us should get together and go to the match...woudl be a good laugh to see Scotland thrashed by US ;-)
ReplyDeleteTano, i agree with Johnaldo, hang in there, and i will see you this week. Remember, sticks and stones break bones, but words can't harm you (unless you let them). Just sounds like the usual finger pointing from the usual suspects. Hopefully Johnaldo will be back for Indoor 3 session...keep us posted!!!!
Safet provided the wise words. Blackpool obviously a very good & physical team (Just like the real English team), so you did great to hang in there at 3-2
ReplyDeletecome back LaBocaX....we miss you!!!!!
ReplyDeletetalked to Gogoliito, and he's definitely in for Outdoor in April...thanks Goggs!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support gents, honestly; not that I feel attacked, but after 2 consecutive years without missing a single game, is hard to understand some guys, which I think everyone knows my limits and my way of playing with good and bad moments as well as does any player do, even the considered the best in the world player, Lionel Messi, can't escape from wrong decisions in a micro-sec. last game he missed two goals alone against the goalkeeper and against Sevilla in the last minute on a zero to zero he missed a PK, in October of last year. That serves a stubborn old man to tell him how to play if neither a young player manage to escape from screw up and that's the risk of playing soccer (or getting married), where imporvisacion and mental agility are beyond any logic or strategy spoken before or after each game. You can tell me where you want me to play as a many times Johnaldo did to me,(try to be in the box) but not how to play or if a missed a goal how to kick.
ReplyDeleteI apologize for any sarcasm that I posted at the last comment, and Thanks a lot for those playmates as the vast majority of whom are optimists and support your partner when he commiting an error sometimes; thing that I do have to learn from many of you .I wish you good Luck this Thursday, and see you next with a better attitude.
Tano, we need you this Thursday. I have filing we gonna be short, please show up, Thank You

Back from India!
ReplyDeleteYou Welcome I see you soon.
DeleteWe lose 3-1. But good practice do.
Giants Kicker is a big Celtic fan!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Johnaldo!
ReplyDeleteWas a decent match last night, but the BC keeper was outstanding all night. We created a lot of scoring chances, but he saved most of them. There were also a few rough incidents out there too, between the yelling at the ref, and the scirmishes between some of the players. We need to reign this in guys. The BC guys are our friends, and the ref is one of my neighbours, so just keep a cool head, and will be much more fun for all....LOL
Roniildo, El Gato, Tano, TomP, Paulo, Safet, David, Hooman1, Hooman2,TomA
forgot to also mention that Gary Archer was on the sideline, and he has been a key SASL exec for years..need to cool it a bit at the indoor. Somehow seems more intense (in a bad way)than outdoor. Just think of it as training for the new season?
ReplyDeleteVery true Roniildo I shake hand with Gary too.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who is the rotten apple to take out of the box so we can start over, and everyone sign an agreement, before start the season, about yell in the field or playing crazy. I like to mention people who are great to play with:
Goggs(10+) EL Gato(10+) Johnaldo (10+) Halil(10+) Tom P.(10+)
the rest of us, we need to learn from them, how quiet they play how gents they are all the time.
I played yesterday like them, and in one moment, I was laughing about the game how some turns just crazy. Thank you, the five of you, for been like that, and I will work hard to behave like you guys.
thanks Tano! high praise indeed!
