Indoor Game 3; Madison 11 Guilford BC 2

After two defeats in a row Madison Celts bounced back with  a resounding 11 to 2 victory against Guilford Bell Curve.  Of course this was my first game of the season and we played three at the back instead of two so, you know,......like,.....ummm,.......i'm just saying,..... coincidence or what!?

Next Indoor Game; Thursday, 8.30PM, VS Bell Curve2

Next indoor game is this Thursday against Guilford Bell Curve 2 at 8.30pm on Filed 3.

For those of you that have not paid your full $95 please bring it. The $850 fee is now due to the sports complex and Ronnie and I don't want to be the ones left holding the bill! I've not even played a game yet!

BREAKING NEWS!! Madison Celts stay in Divisions 2!!

Some great news from SASL management!  You can see the detail below but  basically Madison Celtic are now officially saved from relegation and stay up in Div 2 for Season 2014!

Note that Guilford Black Eagles have moved from the Masters League First Division to the Over-49 League First Division East (for now... division formats have not been agreed upon by the Exec. Board yet).  This means that there is a ripple effect down the Masters League:

    (a) 9th-placed First Division Southeast Rovers are not relegated.
    
    (b) 9th-placed Second Division Madison Celtic FC are not relegated.

Indoor Game 2; Cheshire 10 Madison 3

The Celts took a bit of a beating against a  good Azzuri team but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and thats the main thing isn't it?  Next game details coming up soon....... and i think I will make that one!

Indoor Game 1; Guilford 9 Madison 6

Sounds like the first indoor  game was good fun resulting in a narrow defeat. Good to see some ex Madison players back in action again!

The next game will be against Cheshire Azzuri and it is an 8.30 pm game on Field 3

Looks like the fee is 95 bucks a head as we don't have the numbers to reduce the fee. PLease give Ronnie the money asap

Indoor Season Starts This Thursday!

Guys.  The indoor season starts this Thursday at the Branford Sports dome with a game against Guilford Bell Curve 1 at 7pm!  We have an initial squad of 11 confirmed players so the total cost will be $75 per head. That works out at less than 10 bucks per game!  Please bring the money to the first game as we have to pay the full amount of $850 to the sports complex and I'm sure you don't want Ronnie and me to be out of pocket!

I think we should play in black shirts so bring your nicest ones to the game!

Although our outdoor season is some ways off we do need to have those signed waiver forms in as soon as possible. It's the only way you get to play league soccer...for any team!  Please sends them to Ronnie as soon as you can

Also, indoor soccer starts in Branford next week and so far we only have 7 guys signed up to play. We will need more than that. Please tell me yes or no as soon as you can guys!
